Love it! Especially “God may call but he probably isn’t using Verizon”!!!!

What is the McCracken County Library’s policy regarding cell phone use?

Thanks for asking! The McCracken County Public Library welcomes the use of cell phones. We ask that cell phones be used in designated areas, such as the lobby and public spaces throughout the library. Use of cell-phones for private communications is prohibited at public internet terminals and within quiet reading spaces.

Thanks for your question!

“why do cellphone users shout into it as if it were a tin can connected to another by a string? I have a friend whose normal tone of voice is perfectly, well, normal. But let him flip open his cellphone and you’d think he’s trying to yell at deaf Uncle Lloyd in the lower forty over the pocketa-pocketa of a Fordson tractor.” This is so true! I don’t understand why people shout! (especially in the library!)
