Evenings Upstairs @ Your Library

Evenings Upstairs programs are held monthly at McCracken County Public Library. They are free of charge and open to the public and presented in the comfortable meeting room setting. The programs are approximately one hour long with a lecture or presentation covering one hour then brief audience discussion following. Evenings Upstairs involve author events, poetry readings, performances, lectures or presentations by scholars, local “experts” and noted authors. The programs receive support from the Friends of the Library, Kentucky Humanities Council, local businesses and organizations and other partnerships. The programs cover a wide range of subject area providing entertainment, education and information.

Remember our upcoming event on February 26, 2009 MCPL & KHC present Chautauqua program, “Abraham Lincoln I, Too, Am a Kentuckian” portrayed by Jim Sayre.*

7: 00 p.m. in the library meeting room.

All programs are free and open to the public.
